Celebrating friendships!

Friendships mean the world to me.  These girls have been my friends for over 30 years...well at least Joy has...she has been my friend since she moved to Lynden when we were in the 3rd grade...and Traci since she moved in high school.  They both have stood by me through lifes ups and downs...dating, heartbreaks, marriage children and now seeing our children develop friendships together.  Their loyalty goes beyond what words can describe.  God has blessed me with so many wonderful Godly women....and these are two of the best! 

Joy visited from Arizona and stayed with me for a week with her 3 beautiful children.  The three of us enjoyed a girls night out celebraing our 40th birthday's.  Can we be THAT old?  It's not possible, is it?

  

Since it was the 4th of July, we enjoyed an evening BBQ and a few fireworks of our own.Then there was "margarita night"...a great way for a group of girls to catch up.  We missed you Karla...hope you enjoyed your trip!

Thanks for the visit Joy...our family misses you so much already!!  We'll catch up with you in Arizona next!!
