It's tradition at Lynden Christian to put on a Christmas Concert...a highlight for sure! These white capes with red crape paper bows have been worn since the 1950's and the children wear them with pride (I know since I wore one too). Each year I think that there is no way there could be a better performance...and the next year somehow I say the same thing. This year LC is celebrating 100 years so the children sung a Dutch hymn as part of this celebration. They also sang the Hallelujah Chorus and let me tell you....they (all 400 of them) literally sang their hearts out. I'm certain those in Heaven could hear them. It brought a tear to my eye seeing (and hearing ) them sing their hearts out! Such a proud moment...and such a Christmas Blessing!
