The waiting is over....

So with anything, once you get behind, it's hard to know where to pick up again.  Realistically - I should post a picture of my son's 4th birthday since that's about the time I stopped blogging...but that would take us back to August 28th....and a lot has happened since then.  So - do I continue to post pics from that point on, or just call it quits for 2011 and begin the new year with 2012.  Some of you may wonder what took place in our lives in those few months....well here is a brief synopsis.
A brief recap....

alex turned 4 the end of August

• the kids started school - kaiden - 4th grade, hailey - 3rd grade, devin - kindergarten, alex - preschool.

devin turned 6 - had a pirate party with his little buddies
went on a day hike at mt.baker...such a beautiful day in awe of God's creation



•  kaiden played tackle football for the first time - loved it!! the played in the championship game but lost.

• hailey played soccer - they took 1st place - undefeated season.
• grandma and grandpa wubben came to visit

• kaiden turned 10 - had a sleepover party with some of his great buddies
• celebrated all we have to be thankful for over delicious turkey meal at our place.
• dale's sister was here to visit us from washington dc


• we celebrated another year of my loving husband
• remembering the real reason for the christmas season was a great way to end the year.

We have so much to be thankful for and our lives are so blessed by all the family and friends that are in our lives. It's easy to take life for granted until something devastating happens in our lives. Over the years I have learned to never take life for granted...to never let too much time pass before we tell those we love how much we truly love them....it's really not that hard to experience JOY when we put Jesus first, Others next and Yourself last. I hope you have enjoyed the brief update on the life in wubbenworld. Come back and "visit" us more often....there WILL be more frequent updates from this point on. That is a promise!!
