Sunday was a gorgeous day - so what better way to enjoy it than to pack a picnic lunch and head for the beach. We explored a new beach - Clayton Beach - and it is awesome! Definitely will be heading back there for more exploring. The kids spent the entire day hiking around on rocks, collecting sand dollars and have loads of fun! I enjoyed putting some of new photography skills to use.

What would a trip to the beach be without a "boo-boo" from barnacles. Poor baby!
Not only did we enjoy a day as a family, but we enjoyed exploring God's creation on a beautiful Sunday afternoon! I cherish days like this...creating memories for our kids that hopefully one day they too will want to pass on to their children. They said over and over this day, "this is the best day ever...this is SO MUCH fun..." A day well spent!
