Spring Break Fever!

So it doesn't feel like spring...however we know it's spring break since the kids have the week off of school....so what can you do when it's pouring down rain and 39 degrees in April?! Surprise the kids for an overnight stay at a hotel!! They were ecstatic when we broke the news to them and they couldn't pack up their stuff fast enough. We didn't go far from home, which gave us that much more time to spend swimming in the pool. We returned VERY water-logged but we had oh so much fun!! We managed to swing by the tulip/daffodil fields on our way to snap a few pictures and play in the mud....it wasn't raining at the time but as you can see from the mud - there was plenty of it to get stuck in.

My parents showed up and surprised Cory with an overnight stay at the hotel as well.These guys sure love their Papa!Kid lovin' on their mama!Crazy boys!! There is nothing better than having some quality time together as a family...creating those family memories that will last a lifetime! I pray my kids will cherish these moments as much as I do and one day will create memories for their own children. I value each moment God allows me to be their mom...through the GOOD and the BAD!!!
