We took our annual camping trip again this past weekend with our friends....all the way across town to our local KOA campground. We've been doing this for about 6 years now and it's something the kids look forward to as soon as summer begins. It's a great campground with plenty to do to keep the kids entertained...it doesn't feel like we're "at home" however we have the luxery of running home to pick something up that may have been forgotten. This is the last fun hurrah before school starts this week. Now it's back to the real world...early to bed, early to rise!!
Thanks to all that shared in the fun this weekend...we'll see you same time, same place next summer!
Even though it's not really Alex's birthday until the 28th...we thought we'd celebrate with friends anyway. He wasn't too sure what was placed in front of him at first, however he didn't waste time once he had his first little taste. The rest of the cake didn't last too much longer with all the other kiddos (and parents)helping celebrate!
