A time to be Thankful!!

The past 2 weeks have been packed full of birthday celebrations, in addition to Thanksgiving! A very busy time, but we have been reminded so often of the many things to be thankful for.
We started off throwing a surprise 70th party for my mom. Happy Birthday Mom!! We love you!Beginning in August, I began plans for a BIG surprise party for Dale who turns the BIG 40 on December 4. His whole family flew out here to surprise him. He thought this was his surprise until the following night when 40 family/friends surprised him again. We had the pleasure of Hot Walley entertaining us. Happy Birthday Hon!! Sorry for all the little white lies along the way to make this night a success.
The day before Thanksgiving, Kaiden celebrated turning 7 with a Star Wars birthday. The day after Thanksgiving Devin celebrated turning 3 with a race car birthday.
Thanksgiving was celebrated with the whole (local) Van Hofwegen clan, along with a few from California. We rented a gym as there were about 60 of us total. A great time was had by all!! Thanks for the fun everyone.
The VH cousins then celebrated our annual cousin Christmas party - once again...it was an evening of laugher and games.
The end of the celebrating was a pizza and bowling night with my family to celebrate Derrick, Dale, Kaiden and Devin's birthdays....
Now it's time to enjoy the Christmas Season as we relax with the beauty of Christmas surrounding us.

Loved all your pictures. The cakes for the boys were amazing as usual. So much fun for your family to have all those celebrations, but now you need to relax.
