Today was memorial day, so we set out to spend the day as a family. The kids have been begging to go fishing so we packed up the car full of fishing gear and food for a picnic, kayak and all. The weather wasn't the greatest but we had a good time nonetheless. The kids love spending time in the kayak...but it would be even better if the fish were biting...especially since the guys next to us on the beach had caught their 9th fish...some might think it's the rigger of the fishing poles that could be the cause of no fish...although I wouldn't speak of that to my husband :) You can see that they enjoyed the day just the same...plus I didn't have to worry about cleaning the fish once we got home.

awesome pictures!! you do realize that in just a few short years, youre going to need to upgrade to a fishing boat,right? my question is....where will alex sit?? are you going to TOW him?? :) what fun memories! you're such a great mom! love you! :)
