Summer took it's sweet time in getting here....and with it has come lots and lots of fun! I've been slack in posting so here is a quick recap of July.
A day out at Post Point celebrating my bff's birthday!! The kids loved spending the afternoon exploring the beach, discovering various aspects of God's creation.
The boys have discovered a new favorite game....good ole' monopoly...it keeps them busy for hours! We enjoyed an afternoon of berry picking....
so we could enjoy these later!
But we couldn't have done it without the help of Grandma...helping with cleaning and slicing the berries!
The boys decided to raise a few $ all on their own by setting up this lemonaide stand. Thanks to the help from neighborhood kids - it was a very successful sale!
What's summer without a beautiful boquet of roses from your garden. (or your neighbors rose garden)
Kaiden was thrilled to experience his first hike with the SWAT team! He kept up with the big boys just fine!
Hailey had a blast playing in the Razz Fest again this year! This is a great group of girls and they played really well but more importantly - they had a super fun time!
Kaiden heads off to cadet camp...and he was SO excited to head up in the hills for 3 nights with just the guys.
and with how dirty they came home...it was probably a good thing they didn't have any mom's up there reminding them to wash their hands, brush their teeth, remove their shoes before entering the tent etc...they had a GREAT time!!! A big shout out to all the men in our church for being such great role models to our boys - teaching them more about God and his creation!
Alex enjoys picking fresh blueberries from our garden. They are picked as fast as they turn blue!
Kaiden practices his flips off the board during swimming lessons.
Celebrating birthdays!!
Devin is learning to dive in swimming lessons.
Devin advertises for a lemonaide stand during my garage sale!!
This just scratches the surface of summer life in July - stay tuned for a summer recap of August!
